Score one
He is harmless
Light, bouncing, slightly clumsy. He stops being a threat and starts being the joke.
Italian composer, orchestrator, arranger
Full orchestral scoring, orchestration and arrangement, at the standard you hear in cinemas. A hundred projects in, I usually know what a scene needs before the brief says it, and I will say so when it needs something other than what you asked for.
4.9 on Fiverr 100+ projects delivered 2 projects open right now
Nothing changes in the edit. Both of these are the same scene, and you are watching it twice. Only the music decides whether it is a comedy or a threat.
Score one
He is harmless
Light, bouncing, slightly clumsy. He stops being a threat and starts being the joke.
Score two
He is dangerous
Low, still, holding. The room has not changed and you no longer want to be in it.
Send me your cut and I will send back a real number for the score, no account and no commitment. Send the cut
A watch commercial. First everything together, then the music alone, then the sound effects alone. Same picture in all three.
Composition, sound design and mix. Every hit is placed against a frame, not dropped on top of the edit.
Layer one
The mix
Everything at once, the way it would go out.
Layer two
The music
On its own. Listen for where it moves and where it waits.
Layer three
The sound effects
Built object by object. None of this was in the footage.
Film, games, animation and commercials, sorted by what they were for.
None of these were commissioned. They are demonstrations, built on someone else's picture, of how I would score it.
Mine from the first frame: my picture, my score.
Original demo
Berlin
A girl without inspiration leaves her flat to find the right place to write. At home the music is restless; outside, it finds its way, piece by piece, to the string theme she writes under a tree.

Bottega degli amici immaginari
Thirty seconds to make somebody feel something.
Ad, rescored
Hilton
A Hilton Hotel commercial, given a new score just for the fun of it.
Sound design
Super car ad
Same job as a commercial, in a rougher, less orchestral register.

Albion Colossus
Scenes you have already seen, scored again by me.

You are not here to be convinced. You know what a score does to a scene, and you know what comes out of a prompt. So here is the short version of what a person does instead.
Over a hundred pictures, and it is still these three things.
Before a note exists your picture is open in front of me. The hit lands on the door slam at 04:12 because I saw the door close, and because I know the scene turns right after it.
Keep the cello, lose the drums after bar 40, hold the low string four frames longer. Each of those is an afternoon of work, not another roll and another listen hoping this one is closer.
Written for your picture, licensed to you in writing, and nobody else is ever handed anything close to it. There is a name on the work and a person to call about it.
You already know what you are looking for. This is the part where you find it. Tell me what you are making
These are not sketches. They are cues pulled out of finished projects, licensable as they are.
Yours would be written for your picture instead, which is a different thing entirely.
This is where the level goes up: real orchestration from someone who has done it a hundred times, not a composer just starting out and not music pulled from a stock library. What comes out below is the right order of magnitude, not a quote. Your project is different from every other one, and that is exactly why it needs a real look before there is a real number.
Asking costs nothing: send the cut, no account, no obligation. See how it works first
€500
for 5 minutes of finished film
€500 what is left of the project above
Every switch on the wheel is one thing that is inside that number. Turn one off and the price drops by what that thing was costing, and the panel underneath tells you exactly what you just gave up.
If you remove
The meter runs on what you tell it. Tell me instead, and it stops being an example.
Send the cut, or just describe it. Either way the answer comes back with a number in it.
Why it costs more than a plugin. Identical in the file: same score, same tempo, same dynamics. Nothing was rewritten between the two.
Different in the room: what changes is what produces the sound, and how many hours went into shaping every articulation by hand.
Straight out of the notation software
Notation playback
One dynamic, flat attacks, no bow noise. It is a proofreading tool doing its job: telling you which notes are written, not how they sound.
Five terabytes of recorded orchestra
Real library
Players who were actually recorded, chosen note by note. The libraries cost years of work to buy and more to learn. That is what you are hiring.
If what you have now sounds like the one on the left, that is fixable. Send me the file

Every one of these came from someone who paid before they knew how it would turn out. Be the next one
